Villa fans
What shit support.

I remember our non-game against Sunderland, having been relegated against Wigan, and it was a sell-out.

For all they've suffered this season, their attendances have been similarly terrible.

Morning PARDS son.

Haven't seen much of you since your thread after Bournemouth at home. All ok?

Re: Villa fans
Not so long ago, they were on about getting rid of Ellis and finding someone who is capable of 'taking the Club to a new level'

Lerner has certainly done that for them.

Re: Villa fans
Have said many times that Villa fans are to the midlands, that Newcastle are to the north and Spurs to the south.

Deluded, entitled, we are a 'big club' shitcunts of the highest order.

Result in that two will be going down, not so good that the other could win the league.

Re: Villa fans
They also moan a lot, and are the most deluded in challenging everything a referee gives to an opposition, no matter how self-evident.

Like Scousers, but in the Midlands.

Re: Villa fans
In modern times they have won the league and European cup. They have a big ground too.
If you've ever actually visited Villa Park then you would know that they are a big club.

Re: Villa fans
They have been on a downward spiral and this season has obviously been a disaster.
We will see what Villa fans are made of on day 1 of next season.
They need to be filling the ground and 100% behind the team.

I suspect they will fail the test.

Personally I regard this as KARMA for them not waiving away the Ominimimimi oversight and saying we were beaten fair and square and don't want a replay.

Re: Villa fans
The inescapable fact, which some on here choose to ignore, is that Villa fans are much like us and fans of most other clubs.

If we were owned by Lerner right now, having had to put up with what they have for a couple of seasons and now left with an unmotivated squad seeing out the fag end of an unsuccessful relegation struggle our ground would not be full to capacity either.

Re: Villa fans
Considering how proud some people were on here about not renewing or going to games in the last few years, while we were still in the Premier League, this might be a bit of glass houses.

Re: Villa fans
I think they had pretty good attendances when they had a stint in the old third division (can't be arsed to look it up, though).

Lerner in charge = worse than playing the third flight

Who on here was proud about not renewing then?

Re: Villa fans
I find it hard to be too critical to be honest, they've been fucking toilet and in a downward spiral for ages.

Well, when you think what some of our fans go into meltdown about, like a few fucking tweets by the chairman's son, you have to wonder what it'd be like if we had an owner like Lerner, or Fernandez.

Re: Villa fans
Our attendances and support in the second TIER have been exemplary.
Lets see how Villa shape up.

Full throated SUPPORT or whimpering and whining in that horrible accent as they desert their team.

Re: Villa fans
Its not that they are kicking offf now, in fact it was amusing hearing the grief Lescott received - my issue is that when finishing in the top six they were whinging about the next level then

Massive over reaction from their fans , every single year WITHOUT FAIL three teams get relegated from the premier league . this time it just happens to be there turn ! boo fucking hoo

Re: Villa fans

I've been, impressive ground and they've won some stuff but we'll see how loyal their fans are.
